TECH|DISOBEY|LAB is an experimental art project that explores sounds and visuals through DIY electronics, circuit bending, and self-made instruments; utilizing electronic salvage and reclaimed materials as a platform for audio-video expedition.

TECH|DISOBEY|LAB was established with three catalysts:

*Reclamation; the process of deriving usable materials from waste, by-products, but also of analog tools and skill-sets once fundamental and now largely rescinded.

*Resistance; the act or power of resisting, opposing, or withstanding technological consumerism and institutionalized compulsions to upgrade.

*Experimentation; the act, process, or practice of making experiments free from standards, measures, and expectations.

TECH|DISOBEY|LAB adopts an open source philosophy and is united in the pursuit of experiences beyond the pale of mainstream society. Protective gear is worn when conducting experiments.
